Nectar Poeticus

I’ve always worked on my blends in parallel, swiftly switching between aromatic notes to explore different sets and develop ideas with both cohesion and differentiation.

Poeticus builds upon Nectar’s Osmanthus base, adding the bright freshness of Jonquille and the green, indolic depth of Narcissus.

But this isn’t just any Narcissus—this is Poeticus. With its peach and apricot profile blending seamlessly with the vibrant Osmanthus, it carries a rich indolic character that evokes the opulence of jasmine and tuberose.

The amber-warm glow of Sandalwood and a lush touch of Mango deepen the composition, while Silani Oud from Yaaseen wraps it in an earthy, resinous blanket.

Still, I wondered: could it be even better?

As I sifted through my collection, I recalled a gem, an aged Kewra, over 30 years old, sourced from a perfumer’s private stash in India. Adding it to the blend was transformative. Its musk-like depth and complexity brought a stunning floral richness, adding a whole new layer.

What once felt incomplete now has depth, complexity, and elegance. Now, it’s Poetic—a sit-down and inhale type of attar.
