Nectar Myanmar

I believe by now, you probably know how dearly I hold those oils distilled by brother Anas of Alhind Oud. The first time I ventured into his creation was that incense grade White Kinam and vintage Mysore heart Sandalwood (70+yo wood) co distillation. It simply took the Ghazali base to new heights with. Needless today, Ghazali Kinami was a hit.

When the Nectar base blend was ready to take different shapes, I immediately sent him a few tolas of the oil and followed up with a message about a potential collaboration. I know, this is the reverse of how things usually go, but I was confident he’d be on board. And sure enough, he was!

"Nectar Myanmar is a tribute to the lush, untamed beauty of Southeast Asia — a rare attar composed of florals, aged animalics, and some of the most exquisite ouds ever distilled. 
The journey begins with a golden duet of osmanthus and honeysuckle, sweet and sunlit, their nectarous glow drawing you in like the soft breath of dawn. Then, a lavish floral heart unfurls — red rose oil as deep and velvety as crushed silk, entwined with the narcotic intensity of jasmine, suspended in a smoky embrace of vintage civet and vintage musk, aged to perfection. 
As the attar warms on the skin, its soul reveals itself: a trinity of precious oils. Pursat Zen Oud from 2014 (AlHind Oud), aged and enigmatic, anchors the scent with resinous gravity. Two distinct Burmese ouds — one fruity-smoky, the other tea-sweet — swirl together in sensual rhythm, lifted by a note of crisp, spiritual Vietnamese oud. (2020) At its foundation, sandalwood oils from both root and heartwood (AHO Mysuru Special) soften the intensity with creamy depth, while the primal signatures of hyraceum and castoreum whisper of wild skins, sun-warmed stone, and hidden paths."
